Entries can be dropped off at reception in the front office anytime before 3:30PM on Monday Nov. 7th
Calling all artists! This year’s Reflections program gives Ligon students a chance to participate in a school competition and potentially have their work submitted to county, state, and national competitions. The theme this year is “diversity means….” and the deadline for entries is Monday, November 7. There are six categories for entries — dance choreography, musical composition, literature, visual art, film production, and photography. Students and parents can click to access submission rules and entry forms (both English and Spanish versions available). Entries can be dropped off at reception in the front office anytime before 3:30PM on Monday Nov. 7th. Please contact Lucy Inman with any questions at lucynobleinman@gmail.com or 919-412-0629.

Thanks for this information — when is the Ligon deadline for entries to Reflections? And where are entries placed? Thanks — Sally Bloom

The deadline for Reflections entries is Monday, November 7. I have not yet determined the location for dropping off entries but expect to have that nailed down this week and will follow up with a post. A panel of judges will review the entries, with results announced no later than November 21. On that date as many as 12 entries from Ligon will be submitted to a county-wide Reflections competition. If you are interested in helping with the Reflections program this year, I would welcome it! Please be assured that participating would not preclude your child from submitting entries. Thanks for your interest!
